Loci is a digital service designed to enhance local business networks through digitalization and collaboration. It focuses on creating a digital catalog of local businesses, which visitors can easily access and utilize via their mobile devices. This facilitates the development of digital guides and recommendation lists, helping to establish direct contact between potential customers and local businesses.
The pilot project "Värdskap 2030" aims to explore the potential of Loci in supporting local economies, particularly in rural areas such as Hemse, Klintehamn, and Roma on Gotland. Funded by organizations like Leader Gute, Region Gotland, and the European Agricultural Fund, this initiative seeks to reduce destination leakage where potential visitors opt for larger booking platforms over local options.
The service allows local actors—including businesses and organizations—to build and promote guides focused on various themes, ensuring that more revenue remains within the community. Loci is committed to fostering sustainable local development through improved visibility and accessibility of local services.
